My name is Philip Herman, and I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I currently work in Singapore and have been here since 2005. I've worked in the games industry as a 3D character modeller for six years, and my primary areas of work are modelling and texturing. I always think, "If you want to be better than others, you need to work harder than others." I feel that I will not improve if I don't use my time to learn and try new things. Many great artists motivate me, and there's always room to improve. I need to work hard to achieve my dream. At the moment, I prefer to create characters with strong characteristics or expressions, like those from Disney, Pixar, and DreamWorks, which I try to learn from and study.
