Indian 2D Animation Short Film Blazing Bajirao

Many of you may have watched Sanjay Leela Bhansali's grand Indian movie "Bajirao Mastani", featuring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra. The film tells the story of the epic Marathi hero Bajirao and how he lived his life. Just before the movie's release, an animated version of "Bajirao Mastani" was released as a web series to educate young people about the life of the great hero Bajirao.

The series is mix of Hindi and English, which is based on the true life story of Bajirao. During his lifetime, Bajirao Peshwa fought 41 successful battles and was the key person responsible for the expansion of the Maratha empire. This is the first time, Bollywood has ever attempted a graphic animated series for a movie, prior to it's release and it was a huge success.

The chief creative officer, Vaibhav Vishal from ErosNow said: “The approach behind the series has been two-pronged. First, educate the audiences about Bajirao, the legend of Bajirao Mastani and the socio-political-cultural history of the era. Second and more importantly, make Bajirao the hero that he must be for our young audiences. We want them to know how cool he was, discover and associate with the charisma of Bajirao".

The silverscreen movie "Bajirao Mastani" was a huge success and was released on December 18th 2015. During the 2016 IIFA awards held in Madrid, Ranveer Singh was awarded the best actor for "Bajirao Mastani" and it also bagged several other technical awards.
