The Future Generation Art Contest 120000 USD 20 May 2020
The biannual global contemporary Future Generation Art Prize, established by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, works on discovering, recognizing and offering long-term support to budding young artists. The award acts as a springboard for emerging talent to build their careers.
Eligibility
The contest is open to all artists between 18-35 years of age worldwide.
Contest timeline
Final date for submission: 20 May 2020
Announcement of shortlisted artists: August 2020
Shortlisted Artists exhibition: February – April 2021
Award Ceremony: March 2021
Submission Criteria
- All works of art, regardless of category or media can be submitted for the competition.
- Artists must upload atleast 3 of their works.
- Artists are invited to apply online with their portrait photo, CV (bio, exhibitions), descriptions and photos or videos of their works
Selection Process
A selection committee, appointed by a distinguished international jury will review every application and shortlists 20 artists. These artists will be commissioned to create new works that will be displayed at the Pinchuk Art Centre in Kyiv. Subsequently, all of them will present their works in the Future Generation Art Prize exhibition at the Venice Biennale.

Main Prize
Cash prize: $60,000
Investment in the winner’s practice: $40,000
Special Prize for up to five artists worth US$ 20,000
